Abstract: Abstract Any industry needs sustainability to survive in today's competitive business world. An eco-friendly production system conserves natural resources and protects the planet. Eco-friendly products use sustainable materials and have a flexible production rate, reducing business costs while helping the environment. Considering this scenario, the present paper introduces an investment in the production system to reduce carbon emissions. Further, the demand for the product, as well as the selling price of the product, is dependent on the investment in the advertisement and the additional investment in the production system. Moreover, the production rate is flexible as demand fluctuates, and carbon emissions are reflected too. This research aims to build a model that can optimize production rates, incorporate investments in environmentally friendly production, and maximize total profit while reducing carbon emissions. Businesses need a solid framework to handle the intricacies of sustainable manufacturing and marketing in today's competitive marketplace, and this study intends to give just that by tackling these interrelated factors. A numerical example is illustrated to support the features of the model.
