Abstract:
Abstract The current epoch is characterized by the fast progression of artificial intelligence. As a consequence, the incorporation of education-oriented instruments propelled by AI is fundamentally transforming the educational milieu. The prime objective of this study is to assess the effectiveness, advantages and limitations of using ChatGPT, with a specific emphasis on the perspectives of students who regularly interact with this technology. The aim of this study is to analyze the advantages of AI-driven (ChatGPT) learning and identify any challenges to its seamless integration into educational settings through a brief assessment and comprehensive survey of 350 participants. The result from the study reveals that utilizing ChatGPT may potentially diminish the user's cognitive abilities and impede their future utilization of critical thinking capabilities. As the student becomes accustomed to ChatGPT, they increasingly rely on it and experience a decline in their listening and creative abilities. The study concluded that the user’s education level plays a key role in their usage of AI tools such as ChatGPT.
