Abstract: Abstract The application of mobile communication has expanded rapidly in various sectors including industrial, commercial, military, and public safety. Simultaneous uses of these verticals laid strain on the current spectrum. In various allocation schemes, few spectrum channels are fully utilized while others remain vacant. This paper recommends a design strategy for base transmitter and receiver systems to optimize the utilization of channels by store and forward e-node base transceiver system (SFeNB) model in global system for mobile communication(GSM) and fifth-generation (5G) for efficient radio spectrum management and better channel utilization. The simulated results of the recommended channel model were compared with well-established channel models currently employed in the network. The result of the channel model shows better Path Loss (126.96 dBm) as compared to the HATA and COST232 models which are 134.48 dBm and 145.1 dBm respectively. In addition, this study incorporates simulations over clustered channels and utilizes a custom-developed dynamic adaptive channel hopping (DACH) algorithm to enable dynamic spectrum access for the channel. The proposed approach can be effectively implemented as an SFeNB model in 5G networks, resulting in efficient radio spectrum management and improved channel utilization. The results show that 100% channel Utilization is possible with overload conditions.
