Abstract:
Abstract The article studies the condition S-spectrum of quaternionic operators on a right quaternionic Hilbert space. Specific topological properties of condition S-spectrum are developed. The condition S-spectrum of various classes of normal quaternionic operators is determined. The condition S-spectrum of rank-one and rank-one nilpotent quaternionic operators are identified. It is illustrated that condition S-spectrum helps characterize the norm behavior of non-normal quaternionic operators.
