Abstract:
Abstract Greg Peters book Our National Forests contains thematic stories about the formation and attributes of the US National Forest System. Story themes include forest watersheds connection to water quality, tree growing science, restoring grasslands, native tribal forest management, recreational crowd control, wilderness system creation, citizen science to gather wildlife data, forest fires, and the challenge in developing diversity within the US Forest Service.
