Abstract:
Abstract Revitalizing Urban Waterway Communities presents the challenges and opportunities in engaging local residents in transforming the rivers and streams that run through their neighborhoods. The theme of environmental justice is woven throughout this volume with a strong emphasis on solutions that benefit local residents, as well as provide ecological improvements. International case studies highlight innovative urban waterway revitalization projects that address environmental justice issues.
