Abstract:
Abstract It is accepted that the innovation network has turned into a competitive advantage in countries’ economies. This study uses the meta-synthesis method through the review of related literature on the presentation of an innovation network framework and related dimensions. We employed the Web of Science (WoS) database from 1991 to 2020. Overall, 37 papers were chosen after qualitative evaluation. The results revealed that the cooperation structure and interaction among the network members possess the highest importance in designing an innovation network. By introducing new influential factors in innovation, our proposed network will not only contribute to recognizing the significant factors but this will also be followed by the preparation of the necessary conditions. Research on innovation networks is still at its emergent stage. This study is a pioneering effort to review the literature in innovation networks to provide a framework and concepts in this area.
