Abstract: Abstract Entrepreneurship has evolved through globalization and technology, emphasizing sustainability and innovation. CEOs are crucial in integrating sustainable practices into business strategies for economic and environmental benefits. The study employs a systematic literature review methodology to explore the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation, top management, and sustainability. Utilizing Scopus for data collection, the authors refined their selection to 30 relevant articles. Thematic analysis identified three key themes: leaders’ entrepreneurial orientation, sustainable initiatives, and ecosystem connections, emphasizing the importance of leadership in promoting sustainability. A theoretical framework grounded in the Upper Echelons Theory (UET) is proposed, illustrating the role of leadership traits in shaping sustainable strategies and decision-making. The findings offer valuable insights for business leaders, policymakers, and researchers, emphasizing the need for leadership-driven sustainability. The study also identifies gaps in existing research, suggesting future directions to explore leadership’s role in fostering long-term sustainable business models. By integrating strategic leadership with sustainability principles, businesses can enhance innovation, stakeholder trust, and long-term economic resilience.
