Abstract:
Abstract This experimental study evaluates the effectiveness of digitally integrated technology-entrepreneurship (technopreneurship) learning materials in enhancing the skill development of first-generation entrepreneurs in Satara District. This study aimed to identify gaps in understanding the applied knowledge from traditional classroom learning versus well-designed, digitally integrated, technology-based entrepreneurial learning materials within the broader context of innovation and entrepreneurship education leveraging digital technology. The study employed a completely randomized formal experimental design with 70 first-generation entrepreneurs from a Technology Entrepreneurship Development Program (TEDP) divided into a control group and an experimental group of 35 participants each. The control group received traditional classroom training using print-based techno-entrepreneurship learning materials and methods. In contrast, the experimental group was exposed to a comprehensive learning material package that integrated print materials with multimedia digital content, a digital lab manual, web referencing, and a support guide for trainers, including a technopreneurship portal and a digital content compact disc (CD). Data were collected using questionnaires and online tools and then processed and analyzed using SPSS software via a two-sample t-test. The hypothesis that integrated technology-entrepreneurship learning materials are ineffective in creating sustainable enterprises with technopreneurial skills was rejected.
