Abstract:
Abstract This study aims to assess the contribution of international trade to efficiency in innovation for members of the OECD. It will do so by adopting a novel analysis on this theme by using Data Envelopment Analysis combined with regressions. The results indicate that being a member of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation is significantly correlated to an increase in efficiency gains while being a member of the European Union does not correlate with the same benefits in this area.
