Abstract:
Abstract This paper investigates the influence of organizational culture on the relationship between business model design and firm performance. The dataset consists of 107 Tunisian companies for the period from December 2014 to March 2016. We use a quantitative survey conducted from a questionnaire. We adopt a mediated moderation analysis in order to examine how organizational culture moderates business model-firm performance relationship. Our results reveal that (i) organizational culture strengthens business model-firm performance relationship and (ii) strategic planning mediates the positive moderating effect of organizational culture on business model-firm performance relationship. Overall, this research suggests that business model of firms with strong organizational culture may improve firm performance through high quality strategic decisions.
