Abstract: Abstract This study ventures into the integration of new-generation information technology (NGIT) within traditional village governance, proposing the Intelligent Interest Coordination and Communication Platform (IICP-TVG) as a novel solution to the perennial conflicts between modernization efforts and heritage preservation. By leveraging a comprehensive “power-interest” matrix, this research delineates the intricate stakeholder dynamics in Zaima Town, Rongjiang County, Guizhou Province, showcasing the paramount importance of effective consultation, equitable interest distribution, and robust protection mechanisms in conflict resolution. The incorporation of NGIT—spanning the Internet of Things, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence—emerges as a cornerstone, enhancing information transparency, fostering multiparty negotiation, and ensuring timely responses, thereby heralding a new era of intelligent governance. This paradigm shift not only advances the knowledge economy by facilitating innovation and knowledge creation but also champions a sustainable and harmonious development model for rural areas. Through a blend of government oversight, multi-stakeholder participation, and social oversight, the study illuminates a pioneering pathway towards reconciling the dual objectives of preserving cultural heritage and fostering economic growth, thereby contributing to the broader discourse on sustainable development within the knowledge-based economy.
