Abstract:
Abstract The study inspects the complex relationships among student engagement, entrepreneurial education, and entrepreneurial intention among final-year university students in a competitive educational landscape. Employing a quantitative approach, the research utilizes SPSS version 25 and Smart-PLS version 3.3.3 for extensive data analysis. A structured questionnaire was regulated to a sample of 385 final-year students of the management department in India, selected through purposeful sampling to effectively represent their perceptions regarding entrepreneurial education within their institution. The results reveal a significant correlation between entrepreneurial intention and entrepreneurial education, showing that well-structured educational programmes can remarkably influence students’ aspirations to follow entrepreneurship. Moreover, the study focuses on entrepreneurial education, which acts as an important mediating factor in the strong link between student engagement in educational practices and developing their entrepreneurial intentions when helped by solid educational frameworks. Additionally, the research proposes a theoretical framework focused on constructing effective entrepreneurial education programmes that develop students’ entrepreneurial intentions, highlighting the necessity of understanding student point-of-view in improving educational plans that prepare them for successful careers as entrepreneurs in today’s active job market.
