Emergence of new technology, particularly information systems (IS), can help the managers reduce the crisis management risks while making the decisions. Geographic information system (GIS) is recognized as a useful system for alleviating the risks during crisis management. Despite the usefulness of IS, the adoption of them by the respective managers is an essential part to achieve desired results.
