Abstract: Abstract This paper studies the treatment of ratio independent undesirable outputs which may arise in some real problems. Considering the structure, the principles of related production technology are described. Then the resulting production possibility set is introduced. Focusing on the nature of such undesirable outputs, a linear programming problem is presented. Then the model is developed regarding two aspects. Finally, the approach is implemented on two numerical examples and the results are discussed.
