Abstract: Abstract In this paper, we established a new method to search for the exact periodic solutions and analyze their stability for an indefinite singular equation with two singularities and a piecewise weight function, which arises from the Kepler problem on the sphere. The concrete numerical example shows the effectiveness of our method.
