Abstract:
Abstract Development is a key term to foster quality in the institutions. Especially in education, there is an intensified need to concentrate on school development through the importance of manpower and strategic planning. This research aims to examine the role of strategic planning and the need of manpower for the development of schools in terms of catching quality. A qualitative research was done and interviews were conducted to gain insights on the experiences and interpretations of head masters on the strategic planning. A thematic analysis was done on the activities of the headmaster in terms of the school, the planning process, sharing with stakeholders and essential factors for strategic planning. The result of this study revealed that the role of education and manpower is essential for the development of schools and strategic planning is essential for quality.
