Abstract:
Abstract In this paper, we have discussed the problem of estimating the population ratio in cluster sampling over two occasion successive sampling in the presence of non-response. Based on the available information from first and second occasions about the clusters, we have proposed an estimator considering both matched and unmatched portion. We further studied different cases in presence of non-response on single occasion and on both occasions. Next, we compare the results of different estimators obtained from various cases with proposed estimator. The study is supported by simulating the real life data to show the performance of the suggested estimators in different cases.
