Abstract:
Abstract Bibliographies of "reference books", namely Encyclopedias, Comprehensive Treatises, and Advanced Textbooks constitute a valuable source of information about seminal papers in various branches of science. Examples are given mainly for chemistry, but other areas might be treated similarly.
