Abstract: Abstract The purpose of this study is to review the knowledge base on the relationship that is shared between multinationals’ host nation and their origin nation from 1994 to 2022. Literature was primarily gathered from Scopus using key words and quantitatively analyzed thereafter. To gather the sample for this article, the PRISMA technique was applied, and VOSviewer was used to execute the bibliometric analysis. The result shows the highly cited articles and terminology that have been deemed popular throughout the span of the research period, in addition to the highest publishing nations and further gaps and opportunities for future research. The results will help researchers and stakeholders alike move forward with further studies in this field of research by filling the existing gaps as provided in this paper and extending the existing knowledge base.
