Abstract:
Abstract Demographic changes are a significant problem at the settlement, municipality, and country levels around the world. The integrated assessment of the demographic conditions as a complex multidimensional phenomenon is a problem of current interest, but the set of tools used for this purpose is currently quite narrow. The aim of this study is to extend the arsenal of methods utilised for assessment of the demographic conditions using a new approach. The study considers the problem of demographic condition tension assessment as a specific multi-criteria decision-making problem and uses ranking methods to obtain rankings/ratings of demographic conditions. The presented methods are illustrated by the example of a case study.
