Abstract: Abstract The paper presents a method for an integrated evaluation of life cycle-related ecological and economic impacts. The method combines life cycle costing and life cycle assessment, aims at reducing evaluation efforts and inconsistencies, and is applied for the evaluation of hybrid railcar designs.
