Abstract:
Abstract Standard specifications that realize mutual availability in data distribution are indispensable for cooperation between different fields. On the other hand, the forming standardization processes that allow many different things such as physical objects and services to be connected through the Internet, generate costs and require time to form consensus due to stakeholder diversification. To adapt to social evolution and use of big data generated by a massive amount of distributed data, establishing a method to develop a standard of data specification that involves a large number of diverse industries and stakeholders is necessary. The paper analyzes the evolution of the Standard Developing Organizations (SDOs) management policy for data-related technologies and discusses strategies for encouraging data transactions with rapid standardization processes and early diffusion.
