Abstract: Zusammenfassung Die Inflationsrate hat im Euroraum zuletzt einen Höchstwert erreicht. Neben der amtlich gemessenen Inflationsrate wurde die subjektive Inflationswahrnehmung hingegen wenig beachtet. Dieser Beitrag füllt diese Lücke, indem auf Grundlage einer repräsentativen Befragung die subjektive Inflationswahrnehmung gemessen und diskutiert wird, welche Gründe zu einer Divergenz von gemessener und wahrgenommener Inflation führen. Weiterhin wird untersucht, welche Personengruppen sich besonders von steigenden Preisen betroffen fühlen und wie Haushalte ihr Konsum- und Sparverhalten an die subjektive Inflationswahrnehmung anpassen.
