Abstract: Zusammenfassung Europäische Fußballklubs spielen mit der Idee eine von der UEFA unabhängige Superliga zu gründen, in der nur ausgewählte Top-Mannschaften antreten würden. Am Beispiel des FC Bayern München wird sportökonomisch untersucht, welche Kosten und welche Nutzen die Bayern von einer solchen europäischen Superliga zu erwarten hätten.
