Abstract:
Venezuela is probably the latest country that is expected to go through a serious transition. The reason of course is the recent death of Hugo Chavez. The purpose of the authors in this paper is to take a look at Venezuela before Chavez, during Chavez and then if possible try to make some projections for the economic direction of the country and its future. In our attempt to do that, we are going to present data for about 40 years and based on this data we are going to do our evaluation.
