Abstract: The problem of the role and place of initial relationship in the structure of social and economic systems is solved and the forms of its implementation in economic systems of the market type are shown Labor relations are represented as a structure forming factor of social and economic systems The subject matter of labor relations is characterized as a system of social and economic relations that occur in the process of production between employees and owners of means of production in relation to their connection with the means of production labor motives and incentives social division of labor and cooperation and forms of allocation of labor results social product The methodology of researching the structure of economic systems through the prism of major and initial relationship developed by the authors allows to allot the blocks that form the system of labor relations taking into account their objects and subjects The offered methodology allows to describe the system of labor relations of any economic system
