Abstract: The discussion about the social and solidarity economy, is gradually receiving more attention in the academic field. The main points of discussion are those related to the economic viability of this kind of enterprises and how is it possible to conceive a viable and sustainable management model that, at the same time, respects the peculiarities of this kind of organization. This paper presents the methodology applied by the ITCP UCSal (Technological Incubator of Popular Cooperatives of the Catholic University of Salvador) that acts in this field of economy since 2009 and which work has been recognized by the good results that it has been presetting.
