Corporate Governance and Global Communication

Abstract:
Communication plays a decisive role to evaluate how corporate responsibilities are taken and to recognise the potential to meet the expectations of the various social interlocutors. Information about the system of corporate governance, in terms of structural and operating characteristics, allows the user to assess its suitability, particularly in the light of the growing corporate complexity and the increasingly risky challenges of globalisation. Legislative intervention and self-regulation, at a national and international level, is oriented primarily to encouraging transparency, in the face of behaviour that is not always sufficiently correct.
