Does information technology contribute to economic growth in developing countries? a cross-country analysis

Abstract: This paper explores the impacts of information technology (IT) investment on economic growth using a cross-country analysis based on data from 56 developing countries for the years 1970-1998. The results show that IT investment significantly contributes to economic growth in the developing world.
