Abstract:
In recent years, the financialization of enterprises has been increasing. The impact of financialization on exporters’ upgrading was studied in this article from a global value chain (GVC) perspective with the data of listed companies from 2007 to 2013. A remarkable negative impact is found from financialization on firms’ export upgrading in our paper. And it also provides helpful insights for enhancing export competitiveness.
