Aggregation, technological change and the skill structure of the British Economy 1951-1991

Abstract: This paper presents quantitative estimates of the effects of technological and sectoral change on skill composition in the United Kingdom, in each decade 1951-1991 and assesses the effect of sectoral aggregation on these effects.
