Journal of Contemporary Central and Eastern Europe, 2025, vol. 33, issue 1, 181-188
Abstract:
The article draws a chronology of the Romanian political scene in the last quarter of century. It follows the evolution of the main political parties and representatives, their most important policies, as well as their social impact. Its guiding hypothesis is that the recent elections have brought to an end, but also to its logical conclusion, the political cycle that began at the turn of the millennium.
