Change and Continuity in the American Macroeconomy, 1929-2007: Exercises for Principles of Macroeconomics

Abstract: This article provides a series of exercises based on statistics about the American macroeconomy. These exercises were designed to introduce students to the institutionalist perspective, promote basic historical literacy, and help the student develop their skills with the Microsoft Excel software program.
