A Korea-Japan FTA: Economic effects and policy implications

Abstract:
This paper analyzes the economic effects of a Korea-Japan FTA, focusing on the impacts on Korean industrial production and trade. Then, based on the findings of the analysis, the paper tries to provide some policy implications with respect to the economic integration of Korea and Japan. Finally, limitations of the analysis will be discussed.
