Abstract:
In this paper, a new distribution, generalized Log-Lindley distribution, which supports on (0, 1) is introduced as an alternative to the beta distribution. We show the new proposed distribution is also an extension of Log-Lindley distribution. Stochastic comparison for two parallel systems with generalized Log-Lindley distributed components is considered. Our results extend some existing results in the literature.
