Asymptotic results in censored zero-inflated Poisson regression

Van Trinh Nguyen and Jean-François Dupuy

Communications in Statistics - Theory and Methods, 2021, vol. 50, issue 12, 2759-2779

Abstract: This paper investigates properties of the maximum-likelihood estimator (MLE) in the zero-inflated Poisson regression model with randomly right-censored counts. Consistency and asymptotic normality of the MLE are rigorously established. A thorough simulation study is conducted to assess the finite-sample behavior of the MLE.
