Abstract:
Maximum ranked set sampling with unequal samples and minimum ranked set sampling with unequal samples procedures are two very useful modifications of ranked set sampling procedure. They allow for an increase in set size without introducing too many ranking errors. In this paper, we consider information content of minimum and maximum ranked set sampling with unequal samples in terms of extropy. We also compare the extropy of these two sampling data with that of simple random sampling and ranked set sampling data. Finally, we study the discrimination information among simple random sampling, ranked set sampling, minimum and maximum ranked set sampling with unequal samples data.
