Latin square designs with neighbor effects-part II

Sobita Sapam, Nripes Mandal and Bikas Sinha

Communications in Statistics - Theory and Methods, 2021, vol. 50, issue 14, 3371-3379

Abstract: This research study is a continuation to Sapam et al. [2019. Latin square designs with neighbour effects. Journal of the Indian Society of Agricultural Statistics 73 (2):91–98 (online).] wherein we studied the consequences of the presence of RN and CN Effects in an LSD of order 4. Here we continue our study for LSDs of orders 5 and 6. We contemplate the same linear model and study its analysis in considerable details—with special emphasis on the nature of estimable parametric functions and also on the nature of error functions—in the presence of Row- and Column- Neighbor [RN- and CN-] Effects.
