Abstract:
Ghosh and Hamedani (2018) defined and studied a new generalization of the Kumaraswamy distribution, namely, the Gamma-Kumaraswamy distribution. They made some mistakes in presenting the density, log-likelihood functions, derivatives of the log-likelihood function, and application of Gamma-Kumaraswamy distribution to real data sets. In this note, we will correct them.
