Abstract:
In this article, we derive explicit expressions and some recurrence relations for the single and product moments of progressively Type-II right censored order statistics from the inverse Weibull-geometric distribution, and then we use these results to calculate the means and variances of progressively Type-II right censored order statistics. Also, we discuss the best linear unbiased estimators for the location and scale parameters as well as the best linear unbiased predictors of the censored failure times. Finally, a real data application is presented.
