Communications in Statistics - Theory and Methods, 2024, vol. 53, issue 7, 2369-2389

Abstract: In this article, we introduce the concept of proportional odds relevation transform. Various reliability properties and some results based on information measures are provided. Important stochastic orders and aging concepts are discussed. Quantile-based definition and its importance are presented. A new lifetime distribution called proportional odds relevated exponential is introduced and discussed its applications with two real datasets.
