Abstract:
The problems linked with D-optimal spring balance weighing designs under assumption the measurements errors are correlated are discussed. The upper bound of the determinant of the information matrix of estimators is given and the conditions for this upper bound to be attained are proved. The examples of the regular D-optimal spring balance weighing designs are presented.
