Abstract:
Although the concept of total time on test transforms and its applications in various disciplines continue to occupy literature for more than five decades, its extension to higher dimensions has not attracted much investigation. In the present work, we define bivariate version of the transforms and study some of its properties. A method of estimating the transforms through its empirical version and an illustration for real data are also discussed.
