Communications in Statistics - Theory and Methods, 2025, vol. 54, issue 4, 1071-1080
Abstract:
The aim of this study is to propose a stepwise multiple comparison procedure for comparing the sizes of normal means. Our stepwise procedure is constructed by modifying Imada (2022)’s closed testing procedure based on ordered statistics. We give numerical results regarding the critical values and power of the test intended to compare our stepwise procedure with the stepwise procedures proposed by Imada (2022). Furthermore, we illustrate our procedure with an example.
