The unfolding of Deng's drama

Qiren Zhou

China Economic Journal, 2009, vol. 2, issue 2, 119-132

Abstract: Based upon the author's personal observation and research experience, the article summarizes and interprets Deng Xiaoping's great contributions to China's economic reform from four perspectives: delineation of property rights in Deng's style, bringing entrepreneurship back into China, facilitating the ‘invisible hand’ again, the challenges of corruption.
