Where Else Do the Top 47 Real Estate Researchers Publish?

Abstract: In a recent article in this journal, Saginor (2015) identified and ranked the top 47 real estate researchers based on the number of their appearances as authors of articles in the three most prominent real estate journals over the 2011–2015 period. In this study, we ask two questions as extensions of the Saginor study: (1) Where else do the top 47 real estate researchers publish? and (2) Do their rank positions change when publications in other journals are taken into consideration? The results suggest that the top 47 real estate researchers published in 78 journals other than the three most prominent real estate journals and that most researchers' rankings are sensitive, some positively and some negatively, to inclusion of appearances in these other journals in the ranking scheme.
