Journal of Real Estate Practice and Education, 2002, vol. 5, issue 1, 45-56
Abstract:
Executive Summary. Students use a form with instructions in undertaking a field trip during which they observe and record various aspects of real estate. The students may embark on the field trip on their own schedule. On an assigned date the results of the field trip are discussed in class. The information obtained during the field trip is relevant to portions of the textbook and allow the student to relate textbook material to the “real world.” Throughout the remainder of the semester the instructor has specific examples of actual real estate situations to which the students can relate.
