Zeray Yihdego, Alistair Rieu-Clarke and Ana Elisa Cascão

Water International, 2025, vol. 50, issue 5, 475-488

Abstract: The Water International Special Issue entitled ‘The Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam: Legal, Political and Scientific Challenges‘, which was later developed into the first book of its kind published on the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (Yihdego, Rieu-Clarke & Cascão, Earthscan, 2018), comprised seven interdisciplinary research articles that dealt with the GERD through legal, political, economic and hydrological science lenses. In addition, an editorial offered key findings, trends and the recommendations by the consortium of researchers and the editors.
