Journal of Electromagnetic Waves and Applications, 2014, vol. 28, issue 10, 1167-1174

Abstract: This paper studies the sampling method for interpolation/extrapolation of electromagnetic response in time and frequency domains. To avoid sub-sampling or over-sampling, a new adaptive sampling method is proposed. With the proposed approach, the length of sampling depends on the required accuracy of interpolation/extrapolation, while its calculation format needs little modification. Finally, this adaptive sampling method is used to calculate the wideband electromagnetic response through interpolation/extrapolation, and some numerical results are given to prove the effectiveness of this method.
